The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce the organization of the ESoA Offshore PhD Course on "Compressive Sensing as applied to Electromagnetics" which will be held at the Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, on October 10-13, 2017.

After reviewing basics and fundamentals of CS, the 4-day Course (co-organized by ELEDIA@UniTN and ELEDIA@TSINGHUA) will focus on the state-of-the-art and the most recently introduced CS-based techniques and algorithms, discussing capabilities, limitations, and perspectives in the following topics: Antenna Synthesis and Design, Antenna Measurements, Adaptive Antennas & Antenna Signal Processing, Inverse Scattering and Microwave Imaging. Applicative examples including exercises and talks regarding specific applications will corroborate the developed concepts.
