The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce that TETRA hosTESS system, developed in cooperation with Centrale Unica Emergenza (CUE), has been experimentally validated within TETRANET of the Province of Trento at the headquarters of Trentino Network. TETRANET interconnects Civil Defense assets of Trentino and is one of the widest TETRA network in Europe, counting more than 72 base-stations and more than 3500 connected terminals. In order to simulate extreme operative conditions, the trial included high-rate batch interactions with more than 130 terminals at once.

The TETRANET telecommunication system together with ELEDIA hosTESS framework have been proven to grant high reliability and support heavy loads of traffic in terms of textual messages, mission state notifications, real-time locations sent by terminals. In less than two hours, more than 15 thousands of GPS positions have been collected, reaching peaks of 10 positions for second.
