Giacomo Oliveri received the B.S. (summa cum laude) and M.S. (summa cum laude) degrees in Telecommunications Engineering and the PhD degree in Space Sciences and Engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2003, 2005, and 2009 respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (University of Trento) and a member of the ELEDIA Research Center. He is author/co-author of over 100 peer reviewed papers on international journals and conferences. His research work is mainly focused on cognitive radio systems, electromagnetic direct and inverse problems, and antenna array design and synthesis.

Federico Viani is currently a member of the ELEDIA Research Center at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of the University of Trento. He received the M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the same University in 2007 and the PhD degree from the International Doctorate School in Information and Communication Technology in 2010. His main interests are in Wireless Sensor Networks, antenna synthesis and design, and electromagnetic inverse scattering methodologies.
