born in Potenza on 11/6/1932, graduated in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bologna (1954), post-graduated (1969) as "Libero Docente" in Automatic Control, performing tutorial and research activities at Politecnico di Milano (1970-1980). Since 1957 to 1992 in Eni Group: Agip Nucleare Spa (1957-1961), Laboratori Ricerche (1962-1965), Snamprogetti Spa, as ICT executive (1966-1969), President of Tema Spa in Bologna (1972-1980), President of Enidata Spa in Milano (1980-1990). Retired in 1992, Vincenzo Gervasio has founded Simatech Srl, as a consulting company in organization and ICT fields, and up to now he provides his cooperation to Simatech in several projects. In 1998 has been appointed by Italian Administration as Member of Final Test Commission for the National VTS Project, and up to now he provides his cooperation testing on site different technical equipment (as radar and ICT systems). Councillor of CNEL (Consiglio Nazionale dell’Economia e del Lavoro) since 1994, appointed by Confcommercio. Councillor of UNI, the Italian Organization for Standards, appointed by Confcommercio.  

received the "laurea" degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy, n 1992. Since 1993, he has cooperated in the activities with the Applied Electromagnetic Group in the Department of Biophysical and Electronic Engineering, University of Genoa. From 1994 to 2001, we worked for MARCONI S.p.A., coordinating in-situ several projects on telecommunications (Malaysia 1994-1996, Belarus 1996-1997, Brasil 1998-2000). At present, he is working as Executive Manager for Southern Europe in ADC Broadband Italy Srl and cooperates as an external consultant in ELEDIA Research Center at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of Trento, Italy.
