received the Electronic Engineering degree and Ph.D. degree in space science and engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 1998 and 2003, respectively. He is with the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of Trento, Italy. His main interests are electromagnetic inverse scattering, adaptive antennas synthesis, optimization techniques for microwave imaging, wave propagation in superconducting materials and urban environment.
