was born in Negrar, Italy, in 1982. He received the "master degree" in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2007. His main interests are in the antennas synthesis and design.

 

studied Information Technologies for 12 years, getting the Master Degree in Computer Science in 2011 from the University of Trento, Italy. He has 10+ yrs of experience as full-stack web developer with good skills in mobile development in IOS. In the early 2014 he joint the ELEDIA Research Center as Junior Researcher.

He is a member of the RP Technical Staff at DISI (Information Engineering and Computer Science Department), University of Trento and coordinates the administrative activities of the "Wireless Communications" Research Program.

received the MS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Trento in 2003 and the Ph.D. Degree in "Information and Communication Technologies" from the same University in 2007. In 2005 he was an intern with "Schlumberger-Doll Research", Ridgefield, CT (USA). He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (University of Trento). His research interests include the solution of forward and inverse problems in electromagnetics.

He is a member of the ELEDIA Research Group and he is working for Siemens in Intelligent Traffic Systems. was born in Cles, Italy. He received the B.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Trento, Trento, Italy, in 2007, with graduation thesis: “Monopulse tracking through a cooperative strategy with distributed intelligence”.

He is currently working at CNRS - Supelec, Paris (France) where he is investigating innovative numerical techniques in the framework of the inversion problems. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the ELEDIA Laboratories of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of the Unversity of Trento, Italia. His research interests include inverse problems in electromagnetism.

In January 2004 I received the 1st level degree in telecommunications engineering with the bachelor thesis "Study and implementation of an evolutive code swarm based for antenna systems real-time control". The project lies in applying a multi-agent evolutive optimizer algorithm (PSO) for antenna system controlling. Weight and phases of each array element are real-time changed due to maximize signal receipt and minimize interferences. The PSO behaviour has been compared with the one of other optimization algorithms, achieving good results.
In March 2006 I received the 2nd degree in telecommunications engineering with the bachelor thesis "Innovative approach for a multiband antenna realization with pre-fractal geometry for wireless communications". The project consists in developing a new operating methodology to generate multiband fractal antennas. The fractal employed is the Sierpinski Gasket, accordingly modified for a better antenna optimization. The optimization algorithm is still the PSO, which has been interfaced with an antenna simulation program. Simulations obtained bi-band and tri-band antennas with commercial reference frequencies. Results has been interesting, so that I continued the bachelor activity also after the degree realizing and testing in anechoic chamber the models obtained.
After a stage of 8 months I have been employed in FAR Systems, where I work on building Automation systems and Building Integrated Photovoltaic design.
